How do I transfer money from another bank?

To transfer money from another bank to your Balance Money Account, please follow one of the options below: 

Add from Balance Money App

1. Open the Balance Money App
2. Tap Transfers in the bottom left-corner
3. Tap the drop down menu under the "From Account"
4. Choose Add Account to link an external account
5. Tap Continue
6. Find and tap on your bank in the list provided (if not found see steps below)
7. Login to your bank (Your bank may require dual authorization) 
8. Choose Checking or Savings
9. You will now be back at Transfer screen, Choose your new account under the "From Account" drop down menu
10. Choose which "To Account" you want this money to go to 
11. Enter Amount 
12. Tap Transfer

My Bank is not on the list

1. Scroll to the bottom of the bank list
2. Tap Link with account numbers
3. Enter Routing number, Tap Continue
4. Enter Account number, Tap Continue
5. Choose Personal or Business, Tap Continue
6. Enter your name matching the account
7. Choose Checking or Savings
8. Tap Authorize to authorize two deposits 
9. Wait the deposits can take up a few days usually 24 hours
10. Open the Balance Money App
11. Tap Transfers in the bottom left-corner
12. Tap Verify to verify your account at the top-right
13. Enter 1st Deposit amount, Tap Continue
14. Enter 2nd Deposit amount, Tap Continue
15. Choose Checking or Savings
16. You will now be back at Transfer screen, Choose your new account under the "From Account" drop down menu
17. Choose which "To Account" you want this money to go to 
18. Enter Amount 
19. Tap Transfer
